Service Technicians and Service Technician Assistants

Essential Functions:

  • Cleaning of pool including vacuuming, skimming, brushing pool, etc.
  • Balancing of pool chemicals
  • Ensure pool and equipment and pool water are safe, clean and in excellent condition.
  • Routine maintenance of pool equipment.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Valid Georgia Driver's License
  • High School Diploma (or in progress)
  • Previous pool service experience is required. *not required for assistants*
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug test

Requirements:

  • Valid Georgia Driver's License
  • Must be professional, helpful and courteous to customers, employees and supervisors.
  • Work diligently to provide the highest quality of service.
  • Willingness to constantly learn more about pool service, pool equipment and water chemistry.
  • Maintain a professional appearance with appropriate clothing.
  • Knowledge of pool mechanics, tools and pool chemicals is required.
  • Must maintain clean and efficient job-sites and company vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records on customer's site and company forms and invoices.

Lifeguard Certification

Looking for a fun job that builds leadership skills and teaches you to save lives? Are you reliable, mature, positive and courteous? Become a certified lifeguard. Lifeguards keep people safe in, and around the water. You will learn how to recognize hazardous situations and identify individuals in need of help. This course teaches professionalism and emergency preparation. Completing the course requirements earns you the following certifications: Lifeguarding/First Aid (good for 3 years), CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certificate (good for 1 year). Course length: approx. 30 hours.

The first day includes pre-requisites test on ability to swim 300 yards continuously; and, starting in the water, ability to swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 10 feet, retrieve a 10-lb object, return to surface, swim 20 yards back to starting point with the object, and exit water without using a ladder or steps (timed under 1 minute, 40 seconds). Skills test competency and written exam (80%) required for certification.

Pool Monitors

We are looking for mature, responsible people to check in residents and their guests in at private community swimming pools. Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, and keeping the deck and facility clean. This is seasonal employment beginning in May and ending in September. We encourage pool monitors to return season after season. This is a great summer job!
